Ángela Burón mixes keen-eyed light-play and digital alteration to twist bodies and minds alike. Crazy attention to detail on blending and poses make these shots instantly intriguing to look at, even if you're just trying to work out what it is you're seeing. I'd love to know what it's like to see the world through Ángela's eyes... and whether or not she took any inspiration from The Human Centipede. Not to say it's perverse in any way, but hey I won't pretend her work doesn't have the slightest hint of a torture-porn undercurrent, beautiful as it is. Then again that's what excites me about it.
